Abseits der Arbeit gäbe es da noch...
...den
heissen Sound,
ohne den ich gar nicht fähig wäre, meine
Arbeiten in guter Stimmung zu verrichten. Der folgende Text wird demnächst
mal ins Hochgermanische übertragen werden:
Music is VERY important. I am not a sound-junkie, I am THE sound-junkie.
I cannot work without listening to music and since the early seventies
I am quite addicted to YES music. Here is the link to yesworld.com.
Some of you might not know, that Jon Anderson, YES vocalist, has brought
up a project called OPIOWORLD
for helping children. It's really worth a visit.
I
like listening to Frank
Zappa's great work nearly as much, see this page, too. And-not
to forget- one of the greatest guitar players (in my eyes): Steve
Vai. There is a lot more of "intelligent" music (music
that will never be played in the radio) out there and just
to name a few of my favorites :Spock's
Beard, The
Flower Kings, Dream
Theater, Steve
Stevens, Isildurs Bane, Paatos, Magenta, QOPH and....and....and
Since beginning of the year I spend most
of my free time trying to save my old vinyl LPs on CD. I thought
this would be easy. Wrong. Audioediting is quite komplex. However
there is a lot of information how to do it here
(in German only) and there is one program (inexpensive and VERY
VERY good) that makes work really easy: WavePurity
(German AND English)
Sport
auch diesen Text werde ich- wenn ich wieder
mal Zeit haben sollte-übersetzen:
When living in Berlin I was practising Jiu-Jitsu for nearly 10 years
and one of the (very few) sad facts when moving to the countyside
here was that ther is no "Jiu-Jitsu" here in this area.
But fortunately I met a very nice guy here. His name is Daniel leRoux
and he is French. Besides that he is teaching Aiki-Dan-Do and my
life will be too short to learn everything that he could teach me.
Here is the homepage of
our dojo.
Here
you will find the site of DJJR (Deutscher Jiu-Jitsu Ring), Headquarter
of German Jiu-Jitsu.
